This post wound up being a lot longer than expected. Sometimes I miss blogging, and it all comes out at the same time. So grab a drink, have a snack, or sit down to paint your nails and get comfy. It's a wordy one.
March is upon us. What does this mean? A never ending headache that weather changes bring and a slew of new polishes. Earlier this month we had Aqua Marina inspired by March's stunning birthstone and now we have the new Us Against the World collection releasing this Friday. Nine new and frankly stunning polishes inspired by one of my all time favorite shows, Sherlock.
This isn't my first or even my second foray into the world of Sherlock. This is my third Sherlock themed collection. I re-watch the series once a year, and this year I was inspired to make polishes based on the 3rd and 4th series. The new collection is already up in the store for preview and we've even added a wishlist feature to make shopping easier for a new launch.
What else is new in our little world? I've added a new Admin to the group and we've been working together to make the group more interactive and fun. We had our first live swatch video this past Saturday, and while the audience was small, the feedback has been great. I can't wait to see this feature grow in the future.
I've also been working diligently on our April Polish Pickup contributions (yep, more than one item) and working on non-polish items to add to the store. For April I'll be making an essential oil inhaler, or as I like to call them personal diffusers. For those who don't know, I LOVE essential oils. I've been using them for years, and love having a personal diffuser in my bag at all times. They help calm me in stressful situations and cover up any stinks I may come across.
As far as new products for the store. I'm bringing back cuticle oils. I've been perfecting my new formula and I'm in love with the results. If you were at Polish Con Chicago then you might have seen some at my booth. I've also found a great recipe for bath bombs, and after a little more testing and sending them to bloggers I'll add them to the store. Leave a comment below with any scents you'd like to see for cuticle oils and bath bombs.
